GUY HILLARD

  At the home of his son Perry, 510 Belleview avenue, Guy Hillard died 
of heart disease at 12:05 noon on Saturday.  Mr. Hillard wasborn in 
Centre county, July 1, 1834, being almost 85 years old at death.  He 
came to Bellwood last October from Hostler.  For forty-two years he was 
employed by the Pennsylvania railroad company, being a track foreman on 
the Lewisburg division at the time of his retirement from active 
service.  He was a Lutheran by faith, holding membership at Gatesburg.  
Six children survive him: John and Mrs. Rachel Harpster, of 
Pennsylvania Furnace; James, of Bellefonte; Perry of Bellwood; Mrs. 
Susan Flick of Conemaugh; Mrs. Margaret Johnson, Dungarvin.  A brother 
and two sisters also survive - Stephen Hillard, of Fostoria; Mrs. 
Adaline Grazier, of Bellwood; Mrs. Caroline Ball, of Clearfield.  
Funeral service will be held in the Lutheran church at Gatesburg, the 
cortege leaving Bellwood on the 7:33 train Tuesday morning and going to 
Marengo.  Services will be held at 10:30 and interment will be at 
Gatesburg.
