  Mrs. Nancy Gunsaulus, wife of James Gunsaulus, died at the home of 
her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Carson, corner of 
Burley avenue and Cottage street, at 6 Friday evening.  She was about 
70 years old and her home with her husband, was at Milesburg.  She had 
been in Tyrone about three months, and had been ill during all that 
time.  She suffered from pulmonary trouble.  She was a member of the 
Methodist Episcopal denomination, and in Tyrone was identified with the 
Columbia Avenue church.  She was the mother of twelve children, one of 
whom is dead; the others are: Mrs. Jennie Carson, Mrs. Annie Colobine, 
William and Frank Gunsaulus, of Tyrone; Richard, of Bellefonte; Harry, 
of Warriors Mark; Abram, of Union county; Robert, of Johnstown; Charles 
and Mrs. Mary McGinley, of Milesburg, and George, of Youngstown, Ohio.  
One brother and two sisters survive, viz:  Abram Dickey, of McKeesport; 
Mrs. Lizzie Brown, of Sugar Valley, Centre county; Mrs. Belle Craze, of 
Renovo.  Funeral services were held at the Carson home Monday afternoon 
at 8 o'clock, interment following at Tyrone cemetery.
