RALPH C. EYER

  Ralph C. Eyer, of 766 Oatman st., York, former widely-known resident 
of Centre County, died in the Veterans Administration Hospital at 
Lebanon yesterday at 6:30 a.m.
  He was born in Tyrone, May 29,1893, the son of Howard and Luticia 
Minnich Eyer.  He is survived by his wife, the former Sue Finkbinder, 
and a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Newman, York, and a brother, Donald, of 
Dalton.
  He was a veteran of World War I army service, a member of the Gray 
Methodist Church, the American Legion No. 127 and the Lincoln Fire Co., 
all of York; the BPOE No. 1094, and a lifelong member of the Undine 
Fire Co., both of Bellefonte.
  Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Wetzler 
Funeral home, Bellefonte, with the Rev. Donald H. G. Miller, 
officiating.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Bellefonte. Friends 
will be received at the Wetzler Funeral Home, Bellefonte, from 7 to 9 
p.m. Sunday.
