COLORADO ULITHA COWFER 

  Colorado Ulitha Cowfer, 88, of Fowler Hollow, Port Matilda died 
Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 5:17 p.m. at the University Park Nursing 
Center, State College.
  She was born, May 13, 1915 in Tyrone a daughter of William Martin and 
Minnie May (Parson) Cowher. On March 4, 1933 in Port Matilda she 
married Thomas J. Cowfer. He died Oct. 17, 1975.
  Surviving are fours sons, Rev. William J. and wife Virginia of 
Palmyra, Va., Robert T. and wife Nancy of Tyrone, Pastor Lee H. and 
wife Rosalie of Brisbin, James F. and wife Gladys of Pennsylvania 
Furnace; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, 
Kathleen Shawley of Philipsburg.
  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathaleen, and a great-
granddaughter, Naomi Colorado Tesky.
  Mrs. Cowfer was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. 
She enjoyed baking and canning.
  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at 11 a.m. at 
Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, with Rev. Patricia Gable 
officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends 
will be received at Feller Memorial Home today from 7-9 p.m. and at the 
church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
