DEATHS
JOHN WILLIAM CRAMER
John William Cramer, near Woodsboro, died on Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock of
pneumonia, after an illness of two weeks. His age was 82 years, 1 month and 8
days. He was prominent in that section of Frederick county. He was a farmer and
active almost to his death. He was a member of St. John's Reformed church
Woodsboro, for more than 50 years. He served at times as elder and deacon.
He is survived by a sister, Miss Emma C. Cramer, Frederick; and the
following children:
Mrs. L. C. Powell and
Oscar Cramer, Woodsboro,
Mrs. Murry P. Cramer, Frederick;
Miss Mary Cramer, Baltimore, and
Miss Edith and
Glenn Cramer at home.
Twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home, conducted by Rev.
F. A. Rosenberger, pastor of the Woodsboro Reformed church. Burial in Mr. Hope
cemetery, Woodsboro. Cramer and Creager funeral directors.
