     ERNEST D. HOLLENBAUGH, Wayne
       Ernest D. Hollenbaugh, 72, of Wayne died Sunday (March 9, 1997) in 
  Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin.  He was born June 24, 1924 
  in Wayne.  Mr. Hollenbaugh was a farmer and sales representative for Pioneer 
  Seed Corn Co. for 47 years before retiring.  He was a member of Concord 
  Presbyterian Church, Wayne, the Dayton Grange, Woodman of the World Lodge and 
  a former member of the Dayton Young Farmers.  
       Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Wilda Watterson Hollenbaugh; a 
  son, Dale F. Hollenbaugh of Coraopolis; a daughter, Mrs. James (Nelda) Snyder 
  of Wayne; two grandsons; and four sisters, Mrs. Burt (Ruth) Ruby of Dayton, 
  Mrs. Henry (Evelyn) Schrecongost of Fenelton, Mrs. Roy (Pauline) Orvis of 
  Rayburn and Isabelle Hollenbaugh of Chicago.  He was preceded in death by his 
  parents Ralph E. and Elsie A. Rupp Hollenbaugh.
       Friends will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and noon until 
  time of funeral ceremonies at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Bly Funeral Home, 125 
  Main St., Dayton.  His pastor, the Rev. Betty Sue Sherrod, will officiate.  
  Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Wayne.
