10-15-1979 Indiana Gazette
     Nora Brown, 79, of Austin RD1, formerly of Rochester Mills, died Saturday, 
October 13, 1979 in Charles Cole Hospital, Coudersport.
     A daughter of Aaron and Sarah Hopkins Jeffries, she was born September 12, 
1900 in Rochester Mills.
     She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
     Surviving are: her husband, Lester M. Brown, whom she married September 8, 
1920 in Indiana; two daughters: Mrs. Donald (Lenora) Sheesley of Kittaning and 
Mrs. Harold (Bonnie) Johnson of Emporium.  There are also nine grandchildren 
and 8 great-grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Wava Blose & Mrs. Katherine 
Travis.  Interment at Wharton Cemetery, Austin.
