Annie Brown
Annie Mae Wiggins Brown, 86, of
faith Manor, Avonmore, died Tues-
day, Feb. 24, 1998, at Indiana Hospi-
tal.
The daughter of Walter Howard
and Lenora Carder Wiggins, she was
born Nov. 24, 1912, in Birmingham,
Ala.
She had lived in the Anonmore
area for the past six years and had
lived most of her life in South
Florida. She was a bookkeeper most
of her life.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the
Methodist Church in Lake City, Fla.
Surviving are her husband of 67
years, Charles H. Brown Sr., Avon-
more; one son, Charles H. Brown
Jr., Lizeela, Ga.;One daughter, Mrs.
Edward (Ann) Vogel, Bell Town-
ship; one sister, Myrtle Weathing-
ton, Birmingham, Ala.; four
grandchildren and on great-great grand-
son and several nieces and nephews.
She was prceded in death by her
parents and a number of brothers
and sisters.
There will be no public visitation
A memorial service will be held at 10
a.m. Friday in the Curran Funeral
Home, Saltsburg, with the Rev. Lota
Jones officiating.
Memorials may be made to the
Apollo and Avonmore libraries and
the Avonmore Meals on Wheels.
