  Millicent Brickell

 Millicent Bostic Brickell died Sun-
day, Jan. 11, 1998, in Mt. Carmel,
Ill., where she had been living for
the last year.
 The daughter of Edward K. and
Pearl Findley Bostic, she was born
in Bowdertown, Indiana County.
 She married William Johns in
1944. He was killed in action in World
War II. She later married Richard
Brickell, who died in 1996.
 Surviving are two sons, John
Johns, Baltimore, Md.; Hugh Brick-
ell, Commodore; a daughter Dianne
(Johns) Lommock, Mt. Carmel, Ill.;
four grandchildren; two great-
grandchildren; and two sisters, Pau-
line Smith, Indiana; and Betty Biss,
Cherry Tree RD; and a brother
Hugh Bostic, UnityYille.
