Harold Blystone
Harold C. Blystone, 69, Shelocta
Rd 3, Armstong Township, died
Sunday, Feb. 15,1998, at his resi-
dence.
The son of Peter Otis and Ottie E.
boyer Blystone, he was born Nov.
17, 1928, in Cherry Run Rd 1, Ford
City.
Mr. Blystone was self-employed
as a farmer and also was a coal
miner. He was a member of the
Plumcreek Church of the Brethren,
where he was a deacon, and he
enjoyed gardening and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Mere-
dith Altman Blystone; four sons:
Terry L. Blystone, Creekside Rd 1;
Tim A. Blystone, Shelocta Rd 3;
Kent V. Blystone, Charleroi; and
Keven V. Blystone, Worthington;
five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs.
Clair (Ruth) Kough, Shelocta Rd 1.
He was preceded in death by two
sons, Barry L., who died in 1983, and
Rodney E. who died in 1985; two
brothers, Lloyd and Owen, and two
sisters, Goldie Yount and Dorthy
Leightly.
Friends will be received today from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark Chapel,
Elderton, where services will be
held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the
Rev. Dorothy Kunselman officiat-
ing. Interment will be in the Whites-
burg Presbyterian Cemetery,
Plumcreek Township.
