Robert Billingslee
Robert M. Billingslee, 79, 1582
Gompers Ave., Indiana, died
Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997, at his
residence.
A son of Matthew B. and Elizabeth
A. Graham Billingslee, he was born
Sept. 3, 1918, in Blacklick Township,
Indiana County.
Mr. Billingslee was a member of
the VFW Post 1989, the American
Legion Post 141 and the National
Rifle Association.
A veteran of World War II, he
served in the U.S. Army Engineer-
ing Corps in the South Pacific The-
ater of operations. He was a
self-employed salesman.
Surviving are his wife, S. Marie
Falcone Billingslee, whom he mar-
ried Nov. 7, 1944; two sons, Robert
W. and his wife, Rebecca, Indiana,
and David M., Penn Run; two
granddauahters, Jodie and Eliza-
beth Ann Billingslee; one sister,
Naomi Wick, Butler.
He was preceded in death by his
parents.
Friends will be received from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Bowser-
Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
