PEARL E. BENCE



MRS. PEARL EDWARDS BENCE, 72, Marion Center, R.D. 1, died November 10, in

Adrian Hospital in Punxutawney.



Born Dec. 25, 1893, in Indiana County, she was a daughter of John W. and

Lena Weiss Edwards.



She is survived by her husband, Clarence D. Bence, and the following sons

and daughters: Elda, at home; Rev. James Bence of Penfield, N.Y.; Mrs. Helen

Elkins, Indiana, R.D. 2; Earl "Jack" of Marion Center R.D. 1; Mrs. Lena

Conner, Hillsdale; and Mrs. Theda Lightcap, Marion Center R.D.



Fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive also, along with

two sisters, Mrs. John Rowe, of Clymer R.D. and Mrs. Charles Mears, of

Marion Center R.D.



She was a member of the Dixonville Wesleyan Methodist Church.



Funeral Services were held Sunday at 2:30 pm in the Dixonville Church. The
