LOUISE D. BENCE, 69, of 4 Kopf Lane, Sparrows Point, MD, died Thursday, Aug.

15, 1985, at her home in Maryland.



She was born June 8, 1917 in Penn Run.



Mrs. Bence had lived in Rayne Township at one time and over 40 years in

Maryland.



Surviving are her husband, Wilmer D. Bence of Sparrows Point, MD. Whom she

married Sept. 21, 1939; a daughter, Barbara Ann Bence, at home; a half

brother, Giffen Rising, Clymer; five half sisters: Mary Stiffler, Cherry

Tree; Clair Smith, Bensalem; Pauline Huseonica, Homer City; Betty Taylor,

Barr Slope; Agnes McQuiston, Indiana RD 5.



She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Nicewonger Rising; her

stepfather, James Rising, an infant daughter in 1942; brothers Harry and

James.



Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Sunday at Robinson-Lytle's

Indiana, where services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday. Pastor Frederick B.

Haer will officiate with interment in the Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, near

Dixonville.
