IRVIN BENCE, 82, Beaverdale, formerly of Marion Center RD1, died Tuesday,

June 17, 1986, in Lee Hospital, Johnstown.



The son of Emery D. and Zula V. Bothel Bence, he was born June 5, 1904, in

Marion Center.



Mr. Bence was treasurer and custodian of the Beaverdale United Methodist

Church for more than 30 years.



Surviving are his wife, Antoinette Theys Bence; these children: Mrs. Bernard

(Maria) Burnosky, Johnstown; Mrs. William (Leoda) Wagner, Rockwall, Texas;

Mrs. Richard (Adelie) Henley, Mount Dora, Fla.; Irvin, Westerville, Ohio;

Leroy W., Marion Center RD1; Wilmer D. Baltimore, Md.; one sister, Mrs.

Essie McMillin, Dixonville.



He was preceded in death by his parents.



Friend will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm today and Friday in the Donnelly

Funeral Home, Beaverdale.



A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday in the Beaverdale United

Methodist Church with the Rev. Olivia E. Graham officiating. Interment will

follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.
