MRS. J. LUTHER BENCE, 86, former resident of Dixonville and Indiana, died

Monday, January 17, 1966, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph F.

Clifford, Pennsauken, NJ.



A resident of Dixonville and Indiana for 73 years, she was active in the

Bethel and Zion Lutheran Churches in Indiana prior to moving to Pennsauken.



In addition to her daughter mentioned above, she is also survived by the

following children: Mrs. Alfred R. Naus, Trenton, NJ; and James C. Bence,

Collingswood, NJ; also four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.



Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday at Bethel Church in Rayne

Twp. Friends may pay their respect after 1:30 pm. Burial will be in Bethel

Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bence Memorial Fund of

Temple Lutheran Church, Pennsauken, NJ.
