DOROTHY BENCE



Dorothy May Mumau Bence of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Chardon, Ohio, and

Dixonville, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1997, in Ft. Myers.



A daughter of John R. and Bertha Burnheimer Mumau, she was born in Rayne

Township, Indiana County.



Mrs. Bence attended  Bookamyre, Dixonville and Commodore schools.



Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. James (Shelene) Studzinski, Aurora,

Ohio; Mrs. Jack (Sharon) Wheeler, Richmond, VA.; Mrs. Ron (Tammy) Rosboril,

Streetsboro, Ohio; six grandchildren; three sisters and one brother: Leona

Mertz, Fr. Myers, Fla.; Mrs. Adolph (Evelyn) Carlson, Erie; Twila

Buterbaugh, Marion Center; Francis Mumau, Henderson, KY



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Ray Bence in

December of 1993; three brothers: Norris, Darl and Lester.



Services and Cremation will take place in Fort Myers. 2-8-1997
