MRS DOROTHY CHLOE BENCE  87, of Indiana died, Monday at the Indiana

Hospital.



A daughter of Oscar and Sadie Thurston Shoff, she was born Nov. 30, 1888 in

Clearfield County.



She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Indiana and lived a number of

years in Clymer and Dixonville finally residing in Indiana for the past

fifty years.



She is survived by three sons, Gerald C. Bence, Newark, Ohio; Logan G.

Bence, Norwood, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Meyers, Indiana and six

grandchildren.



Mrs. Bence was preceded in death by her husband, Logan.



Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Robinson=Lytle

Funeral Home, Indiana and services will be held Wednesday at the Zion

Lutheran Church, Indiana at 11 a.m.



Pastor Elwood J. Stark will officiate with interment following at the

Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.



The family suggests contributions be made to the organ fund at the Zion

Lutheran Church, Indiana.
