Charles Leslie Beatty, Obituary Indiana Newspaper
Charles Leslie Beatty, of Infiana, R.D. 1 died at his late home Monday
January 10, 1966 at
2:05 AM following an illness of several months.
He was born November 5, 1895 in Washington Townsuip, Indiana County, a
son of
Robert C. and Ida Luiz Beatty. A resident of White Toiwnship for the past
44 years, he
had operated one of the well known dairy farms for the past 36 years and
was a member
of a number of Dairy organizations.
Mr. Beatty was a member of the Greystone United Presbyterian Church, and
the Foster
Bible Class, where he participated faithfully until his recent illness.
He was married
November 22, 1923 to Jane Cummins, who survives. Other survivors are three
sons, Clair
C.,Indiana, R.D. #4, Alvin C., Indiana, R.D. #1. the Rev. R. Paul, Worthington,
, a sister,
Mrs Robert C.(Leilah Mae ) Roof, New Bethlehem. , a brother, Frank C.,
of New
Stanton, a step sister, Mrs. Arthur ( LaRue ) Kessler of Marion Center,
seven
grandchildren , and also a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at 7 :30 Tuesday and on Wednesday from 2-4 and
7:30 to 9:30
PM at Robinson-Lytle, Indiana, where services will be conducted on Thursday
at 1:30
PM. The Rev. R Byron Crozier and the Rev, Reid W. Stewart will officiate,
and
internment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery., Indiana
