FURNESS, 2nd Lt. Theodore Fassitt; 1942
 
          FURNESS, 2nd Lt. THEODORE FASSITT. Born in Media, 
      killed in England, August 23, 1942, aged 25 years. He was 
      serving in the U. S. ARMY AIR FORCE. He entered the service 
      Oct. 1, 1941 and is survived by his mother, ADELE S. FURNESS, 
      and one sister, Mrs. JAMES AUBREY GREEN, both of Bowling 
      Green, Media. His body was returned on the VICTORY LAWRENCE. 
      Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. CHARLES HASSLER of the 
      Media Presbyterian Church conducted the funeral services.
