                       Rachel Fairfax

            Funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs.
        RACHEL FAIRFAX, aged 82 years, who died in
        the Mercy Hospital, Philadelphia, at Campbell
        A. M. E. Church. Rev. J. H. Dennis, of Lancaster,
        was in charge and was assisted by Rev. William
        Stanford, pastor of the church, Rev. John Frazer,
        of Morton, and Rev. Mansfield Sommerville, of
        West Grove.
            Interment was in Thornbury cemetery. The
        pallbearers were: JAMES BEECHMAN,
        WALTER DURHAM, JAMES HARDING,
        SAMUEL DERRY, CLIFFORD I. MOST and
        JOHN CUFF.
