                                 JESSE W. DOWNS, Sr.
                                  L - 1 - 23 - 1935
 
         JESSE W. DOWNS, SR., who resided in the Odd Fellows' Building, Waterloo
     avenue, Berwyn, died suddenly at his home Monday morning from a heart attack.
     He was in the 58th year of his age.
         Mr. DOWNS, suffered the fatal attack as he got up from the breakfast table. A
     physician was summoned, but Mr. DOWNS had expired within a few minutes
     following being stricken. The deceased had suffered a number of previous attacks
     and had been unable to work for some time past.
         Besides his widow, *two children survive; JESSE, who is at present located in
     Florida, and a single daughter, at home. Interment will be at Grove Methodist
     Episcopal Cemetery.
 
    *Three children survived: Hannah Downs; John Lloyd Downs; and Jesse W. Downs
 
 
    Jesse W. Downs, Sr., son of James Downs and Hannah Worrell.
