DAVIS, CORA  1947
 
                        09 August 1947

     CORA DAVIS, of 631 Painter street, Media, died at her home
  on Saturday, after an illness of six months. She was 76.

     Born in Waycoft, Georgia. Mrs. DAVIS came to Media 30 years
  ago, and was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Media.
 
     She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Willie SPENCER, of Media;
  and a brother, William West.
 
     Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the
  funeral home of THOMAS F. BATIPPS, 501 Washington avenue,
  Media, and she will be buried at LIMA CEMETERY. Friends may
  call this evening.
