               WILLIAM C. BATIPPS SUCCUMBS TO ILLNESS

            WILLIAM C. BATIPPS, aged 50 (51) years, son of REV.
        WILLIAM BATIPPS and the late MARGARET BATIPPS,
        died yesterday at the home of his father in South Media.
            He was born in Media where he had always lived, and
        was educated at the Media Park School.
            Surviving are his widow, Mrs. BESSIE BATIPPS, and
        six children; four sisters, Mrs. ELIZABETH SEENEY,
        Mrs. MARY SAUNDERS, Mrs. BERTHA JOHNSON,
        and Mrs. GEORGEANNA BROOKS; three brothers,
        PERCY, THOMAS and SAMUEL.
            The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock
        at the Trinity Union A. M. E. Church, Media. Bishop
        H. THOMAS RYDER will be in charge of the service.
            Viewing from 7 to 9 o'clock at the funeral home of
        THOMAS BATIPPS, 708 South Vernon street, South
        Media, Thursday evening.
 
Interment - Lima Cemetery
