                                  PASSMORE T. BAKER
                                     OCTOBER 1903
 
          PASSMORE T. BAKER, a well-known Media carpenter, and a
          life-long resident of the county seat, died suddenly at his home
          in Village View, Tuesday afternoon. MR. BAKER was in his
          fifty-fourth year. He was taken ill with a fever several weeks ago,
          which later developed into heart trouble. After eating lunch he 
          lay down on a sofa, and short time after his wife found him
          lifeless.
          MR. BAKER is survived by his wife and seven children, four of
          them adults.
