Announcements - Deaths
BAKER - of 1410 Edgmont Ave., Chester. On Feb. 12, 1951,
HENRY PAUL, husband of FLORENCE HORN BAKER.
Relatives and friends are invited to the service Thursday
at 2 p.m. at the Rigby Funeral Home, Baltimore Ave. and
Jackson St., Media. Interment Cumberland Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday evening.

Funeral on Thursday
HENRY PAUL BAKER, 54, 1410 Edgmont ave., died
Monday at his home following a long illness.
Mr. BAKER, who had been unable to work for the past
five years, had made his home with his brother, FRED, at
the Edgmont avenue address for eight years.
Prior to his illness he worked as an mechanic at the
American Stores headquarters in Philadelphia. He was born
in Sycamore Mills and attended Media School.
Surviving are his brother; his wife, FLORENCE, 2726
North 13th st., Philadelphia; a son, JAMES in Philadelphia,
and a married DAUGHTER in Guam. Another son, PAUL, Jr.,
was killed during World War II.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the
Rigby funeral home, Baltimore avenue and Jackson street,
Media, with burial in CUMBERLAND Cemetery. Friends may
call Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

CHESTER RESIDENT'S FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral of HENRY PAUL BAKER, of 1410 Edgmont ave.,
Chester, was held Thursday afternoon from the Rigby Funeral
Home, Baltimore avenue and Jackson street, Media. Rev.
William James Alberts, rector at Christ Church, Media, officiated.
Burial was at Cumberland Cemetery, Middletown Road, Lima.
Pallbearers were: FRED BAKER, JR., DOUGLAS BAKER,
HORACE BAKER, JOSEPH BAKER, EDWARD McCAFFERTY
and JOHN SMITH.
Friends called at the funeral home Wednesday evening.
Mr. BAKER was born at Sycamore Mills 54 years ago. He
attended the Media public school.
Mr. BAKER, who had been ill five years, had been residing
at the home of his brother, FRED BAKER, at his home in Chester,
for eight years. He worked in the American Stores headquarters
in Philadelphia.

Henry Baker's sister Sarah Baker married Jacob T. Broomall, the brother of Laura Broomall

Mrs. Laura E. (nee Broomall) Baker and Jacob T. Broomall
