BAKER
FRED L. BAKER, 73, retired employee of the Philadelphia
Electric Co., died Thursday in Crozer Hospital after a brief
illness.
He lived at 2812 W. 13th St., Chester.
Mr. BAKER was born in Media and lived most of his life
in Chester.
He is survived by his widow, the former BESSIE McNEAL;
four sons, JOSEPH of Springfield, DOUGLAS of Cornwell
Heights, Pa., HORACE, address unknown, and FRED, JR.
of Chadds Ford; a daughter, Mrs. GERALDINE EVANS of
Village Green; three stepsons, Bob McNeal of Parkside,
Hilton McNeal of Fort Myers, Fl., and Wharton McNeal of
of Glen Mills; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the J. Nelson Rigby
Funeral Home, Baltimore Ave. and Jackson St., Media.
Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery, Lima.
Calling hours will be Sunday evening at the funeral home.
