This obituary came from an unknown paper. It was cut out and 
put into a scrapbook by its original owner.  It was later 
hotocopied and given to me in 2002.
It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no 
corrections to its spelling or punctuation.

MISS NORA E. BENKE

    Miss Nora Elizabeth Benke, 24, died Monday at Cresson 
sanitarium where she has been a patient since September 5, 1929.  
Miss Benke was the daughter of Fred Benke of Leisenring No. 3 
and a graduate of Dunbar township high school.  She was a 
member of the German Lutheran church.
    In addition to her father she is survived by three brothers, 
Herbert and Harry, both at home, and Fred, Jr., of eDtroit, Mich, 
together with two sisters, Mrs. Charles Seighman of Footdale and 
Miss Helen of Cresson.
    The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon.  There will be a 
brief service at 1 o'clock at the home, with a service at 2 o'clock 
at the German Lutheran church in this city.  Rev. George Dietz, 
paster of the church, will officiate.  Interment will be in
Hill Grove cemetery , Connellsville.
