This obituary came from an unknown paper. It was cut out and 
put into a scrapbook by its original owner.  It was later 
photocopied and given to me in 2002.

MISS ANNA BEAL

    Miss Anna Beal died at her brother's home in New Salem Thursday 
morning, January 7, 1926, at 9 o'clock following an illness of three 
weeks.  She was 56 years old.  Miss Beal is survived by three 
sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Poundstone, Mrs. Emma Gadd and Mrs. Margaret 
Dearth, and three brothers, Joe, of Riverside, Cal., and Brice and 
George, of New Salem.
    Funeral services will be held at her brother's home Saturday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. M. P. Steele, assisted by 
the Rev. Mr. Davis, officiating.  
Burial will be in the New Salem Presbyterian cemetery.
