                                    Alexandria May 26 1896
Mr Phillips

  I want what money you have of mine to be divided evenly between my 
two friends Lommi Porter and Sarah Walker when I am gone.

  This 30th day of December A.D. 1896 personally appeared before me M. 
W. Isenberg Register for the probate of wills and granting letters of 
administration in and for said county personally came Charles P.  
Hatfield and Susan Neff who being duly sworn according to law did 
depose and say that they were well acquainted with Wilhemina Kennedy 
the testator mentioned in the annexed will.  That they have carefully 
examined the handwriting of said testator and verily believe it to be 
the genuine signature and proper handwriting of said Wilhemina Kennedy 
and further that they believe that at the time of the writing and 
signing of said will that said testator was of perfect and sound mind 
memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and 
belief.
