LAST WILL, ETC OF HENRY BOYER, DECEASED.
Will of Henry Boyer.
In the name of God, Amen:
I, Henry Boyer, of the town of Marklesburg in the County of Huntingdon and
State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind, and memory (blessed by Almighty God
for the same do make and publish this my last Will and Testament. I give and
bequeath to my four children John G., Samuel H., Matthew G., and Mary J. my
entire estate, after the expences of my funeral, etc., are deducted, each one
is to receive an equal amount.I give and bequeath to my son John G. all the
notes that I hold against him together with the interest at 3 percent. I give
and bequeath to my son Samuel H. one fourth of the farm on which he lives at
the amount of two thousand Dollars ($2000.) the north half of my mountain land
at four dollars and fifty cents ($4.50) per acre and the note that I hold
against him together with the interest at 3 per cent. I give and bequeath to
my son Matthew G. all the notes that I hold against him together with the
interest at 3 percent. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Jane the use
during her natural life the farm on which she lives at the amount of Six
Thousand Dollars ($6000.) and the South half of my mountain land at four
dollars and fifty cents ($4.50.) per acre, at her death it is to be her
children's.
Any of the above bequests amounting to more than is coming to the person
to whom the bequeathment is made, to make it equal, he or she shall pay that
amount and it is to be divided so as to equalize. My lot in Atchison Kansas,
if not sold before my death is to be sold or any of my heirs may take it at its
case value. I do nominate and appoint my sons John G. and Matthew G. to be the
Executors of this my last will and testament.
In Testamony whereof, I hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and
decree this to be my last will and testament in the presence of the witnesses
named below this ninth day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight
hundred and eighty-two.

Signed Sealed, declared and published by the said Henry Boyer as and for his
last will and testament in presence of us, who at his request and in his
presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as
witnesses hereto, Benjamin B. Grove, of James Creek, Huntingdon Co. Pa.
Samuel Beaver, Jr. of James Creek, Huntingdon Co. Pa.
County of Huntingdon:
This 14th day of Apl, A.D. 1884, before me, J. D. Kuntzelman,
Register for the Probate of Wills, and granting Letters of Administration in
and for the County of Huntingdon, personally came, Benjamin B. Grove and Samuel
Beaver, Jr., the subscribing Witnesses to the above Will, and being duly sworn
according to law, did depose and say, that they were present and saw and heard
Henry Boyer, the testator, sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the
foregoing instrument of writing as and for his testament and last will, and
that at the time of so doing he the said Testator was of perfect and sound
mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge, observation and
belief.

Huntingdon County, S.S:
Before me Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of
Administration, in and for said county, personally appeared Jno. G. and Matthew
G. Boyer, who, being duly sworn, do depose and say that Henry Boyer late of
Marklesburg Boro., died on or about the 8" day of April 1884, at about 9:45
o'clock A.M., to the best of their knowledge and belief.

Letters of Testamentary issued on the estate of Henry Boyer, dec.
On this 14" day of April A.D. 1884, Letters Testamentary in Common form were
issued to John G. Boyer, and Matthew G. Boyer, on the estate of Henry Boyer,
late of Marklesburg Borough, deceased,
