                          20 July 1940
                            Saturday

          Mr. and Mrs. R. (Ralph) BROWER and children,
      RALPH, JR., ARTHUR, HERBERT and MARY, of
      Tenth avenue, attended funeral services for Mr. Brower's
      father yesterday, H. (Herman) EMERSON BROWER,
      who died suddenly in his sleep at his home in Spring
      City, Tuesday. Interment was made at Spring City.
 
 
Note: Interment was at East Vincent UCC Cemetery
        Son of Herman P. Brower and Catharine Elizabeth Beeler
        Husband of Cora S. Sheeder
        Father of Ralph S. Brower, Sr., (1897 - 1963); Herbert Emerson Brower (1899 - 1979);
                  Everett Brower (1902 - 1903); Helen E. Brower (1905 - 1911); and 
                  Francis Brower (1914 - unknown)
