          The funeral, MISS CAROLINE R. ALLEN, late of Media, was held
      on Friday afternoon from the Third Street Friends' Meeting House in
      that borough. The Speakers were members of the Society of Friends,
      and were Annetta WAY, of Lansdowne; Ann SHARPLESS, of West
      Chester; Elizabeth ROBERTS of Moorestown, N. J.: Mrs. Ernest N.
      VOTAW, of Media; Samuel JONES, of Lansdowne; Benjamin 
      WHITSON, of Moylan; Benjamin De COU, of Norristown; Arthur 
      PENNELL, of WaWa; William VAIL and William BIDDLE, of Media.
          Interment was at the SPRINGFIELD FRIENDS' Burying Grounds.
      The pallbearers were James PENNELL of WaWa; Charles MOORE,
      of Lansdowne; Elmer HERGNUTT, William KAVANAUGH and Francis
      BLAIR, of Media; and Barclay WHITSON, of Moylan.
