Sue Pinckard Adair (MONTGOMERY) Sue Pinckard Adair of Montgomery died Monday, June 19, 2006, at her residence. Services were Wednesday, June 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Dannelly and the Rev. Robin Wilson officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Adair was a native of Randoph County. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Henry Harold Adair; three daughters, Jane Finkelstein of Montgomery, Teri Adair of Avon, Conn., and Susan Melians of Palm City, Fla.; one son, Hal Adair of Canton, Ga.; two sisters, Frances Thomason of Pensacola, Fla., and Era Pinckard of Hoover; and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Adair was preceded in death by a grandson, David Adair, and a sister, Ava P. Houser. Active pallbearers were Charlie Adair, Tyler Finkelstein, Clay Finkelstein, Glenn Salter, Frank Temple and Brian Williams. Honorary pallbearers were the Pathfinder Sunday School Class of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
