1898 - 2000

Fred Meade, 101, passed away at his home in Salyersville on September 3, 2000, 
at 12:15am. 

Funeral services will be on September 5, 2000 at 13:00, under direction of 
Dunn/Kelly Prater & Dunn. Fred's final resting place will be the Gardner 
Cemetery, at Ivy Point, Salyersville.

Fred was born in Magoffin County on November 14, 1898 to Leck Meade 
and Julia Howard.

He is survived by 5 siblings: Mahala, Elizabeth, Charles, Lloyd and June, 
his son Dorsie Ray, daughter Emma Faye, grandchildren James Darwin, 
Linda June, Brooke Ann, John Dorsie, Donald Ray, David Lee, Daniel Stewart, 
Toni Gail, Jerry Michael, Deborah Caroline, Janice Ellen, and many great grandchildren.

Fred will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
