   Una Allen Howard,94,of Winchester,formerly of Royalton,passed away Friday
December 10,1999,at Clark Regional Medical Center,in Winchester. 
   She was born April 1,1905,in Magoffin County,the daughter of the late Joe N.
and Mary (Wireman)Allen
   She was a homemaker, and store owner, and of the Freewill Baptist Faith.she
was married to Mace Howard,who preceded her in death.
   Survivors include three sons Joe N. Howard,of Lake Bluff,Illinois,and Jim B.
Howard,of Niles,Illinois;one daughter,Mary R. Brown,of North Middletown;two 
sisters,Mornie Allen,of Parma,Michigan,and Jane Salyers,of Salyersville;11
grandchildren;several great grandchildren;and several great-great grandhildren.
   along with her parents and husband,she was perceded in deathby two brothers
Dona Allen,and Jimmie Allen;and one sister,Curtis Allen.
    Funeral services were conducted Monday,December 13,at 11:00a.m.,at the 
Dunn-Kelley/Prater& Dunn Funeral Home Chapel with Esknovah Jackson and Herlis 
Cole officiating.
    Burial followed at the Green Carpenter Cemetery,at Royalton,with Dunn-
Kelley/Prater& Dunn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
