1921 - 2006

Jewell W. Dyer, 85, of Fairborn, OH  passed away 
September 15, 2006. 

Jewell was born January 19, 1921 in Hendricks, KY, the 
daughter of the late Garland and Elizabeth Walters. She was 
a member of the Eastern Star and White Shrine. 

Jewell was preceded in death by her son Donald Dyer (1998). 

Survivors include her husband, Roy of 60 years, sons, David G. 
Dyer of Durango, CO, and Danny (Sandy) Dyer of Fairborn. Two 
grandchildren, Miranda Dyer of Tipp City OH and Oliver Dyer of 
Durango, CO.  Six step-grandsons, three great-grandchildren. 
Brothers, Hiram (Gay) Walters, Frenchburg, KY, Charles (Myrna) 
Walters of Lexington, KY. and Sid (Sherri) Walters of Union, KY.   
Sisters, Joy Cobb and Delma Powers both of Frenchburg, KY.  

A gathering of family and friends will be held from noon to 2 p.m., 
September 20, 2006 in the Burcham Funeral Home, 119 E. 
Main St., Fairborn, with services to follow at 2 p.m. with burial to 
follow in Byron Cemetery. The family request contributions be made in 
Jewell's memory to the charity of one's choice.
