July 14, 1943 - July 30, 2005

Collins, Dennis Ray, 62, of Loveland, Ohio, died Saturday, 
July 30, 2005 at Jewish Kenwood Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Born July 14, 1943 in Magoffin County, he was a son of the 
late Oscar and Flora Collins. He was retired and a U.S. Army 
Vietnam veteran.  

Survivors include his wife Patricia Collins of Loveland; three 
daughters, Melissa A. LaLone of New Carlisle, Ind., Valerie L. 
Volkringer of Chicago, Ill., and Brandi N. Collins of Culver, Ind.; 
four brothers, Marvin White of Fish Lake, Ind., William Jay White 
and Burl White, both of LaPorte, Ind., and Paul Collins of Salyersville; 
five sisters, Imogene Smith of Walkerton, Ind., Cleo Gill of Rensselaer,
 Ind., Wilma Collins, Wanda Jordan, and Martha Perkins all of Salyersville; 
and three grandchildren.  

Funeral services were Tuesday, August 2, at Magoffin County Funeral Home 
Chapel, Salyersville, with John White Officiating.  Military rites were conducted 
by Salyersville, D.A.V. Chapter 15. 

Burial was in Collins Family Cemetery, Half Mountain, under direction of 
Magoffin County Funeral Home.
