Death came to Mrs. Piety Keeton, 70, of York, Ky., Saturday afternoon 
after a prolonged illnes.

Born December 25, 1883 in Magoffin Co., Ky, she was a daughter 
of W.R. Adkins and Isabelle Reed Adkins.

Surviving are her husband, W.R. Keeton; a daughter, Mrs. Tressie Bradley 
of Richmond, Ind., and a son, Lonnie (Sonnie?) Keeton of Charlotte, Mich.; 
two brothers, W.R. Adkins of Lynn, and Ernest Adkins of Piqua; three sisters, 
Mrs. Grace Franklin and Mrs. Stella Dickson of Borndial, Okla., and 
Mrs. Leatha Felta of Dallas, Tx.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1pm at the Eureka Baptist Church 
at White Oak with burial to follow in the Keeton Cemetery under the direction of 
Roberson Funeral Home. Rev. Kelley McGraw will officiate.
