Adams, Ollie Mae (Castle) 1915-1996

Ollie Mae Adams, 80, died Wednesday, February 28, 1996, at Salyersville Health
Care Center. Mrs. Adams was born July 10, 1915, in Johnson County, the
daughter of the late Troy and Maggie Wiley Castle. She was a member of
the Bakers Branch Freewill Baptist Church.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Thurman (Jack) Adams, on
October 20; three daughters, Helen Williams, Maggie Harper, Oleshia Cardwell;
and a grandson, George Adams. Surviving are four sons, Charles and Doug Adams,
both of Nippa, Robert Adams of River and Darrell Adams of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers,
Arlie Castle and Paul B. Castle, both of Tutor Key, and Odis Castle of Cincinnati, Ohio; one
sister, Marsha Meade of Wittensville; and 14 grandchildren, 12, great-grandchildren and
two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 2,1996, at the Jones Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Hubert Slone and Dick VanHoose Officiating. Burial was in
Adams Family Cemetery at Nippa.
