George D. Basehoar

George D. Basehoar, a retired farmer, one of Adams county's best known and 
highly-respected citizens, died Friday, June 13th, after a two months' illness 
from Bright's disease at his home in Littlestown.  He was 76 years old.

The deceased is survived by a widow, whose maiden name was Duttera, four 
daughters and three sons, as follows:

Mrs. Alexander Geiselman, of near McSherrystown; Mrs. A. F. Hostetter, of 
Hanover; Mrs. George Rebert, of near Littlestown; Mrs. Maurice N. Wehler, of 
Littlestown; Henry Basehoar and George W. Basehoar, of near Littlestown, and D. 
D. Basehoar of Littlestown.  One sister, Mrs. Michael H. Geiselman, and two 
brothers, Elias Basehoar, of Midway, and Samuel Basehoar, of this place, also 
survive.

Funeral from the late home, Monday, June 16, at 1 p. m., Rev. J. J. Hill, of St. 
Paul's Lutheran church, Littlestown, officiating, interment in Mt. Carmel 
cemetery, that place.
