1931 OBITUARY BROTHER
H. W. ALBRIGHT PASSES AWAY FROM STROKE

SUFFERS TWO STROKES, ONE IN MAY AND SECOND ATTACK LAST FRIDAY.

RESIDED HERE FOURTEEN YEARS

Henry Wilson Albright, 218 East Middle street, died at 5:30 o'clock this
morning from the effects of two strokes. He was 75 years of age.
Mr. Albright was first stricken in May. He rallied from this attack and
appeared to be on the road to recovery. His improvement continued until last
Friday when he suffered his second stroke which culminated in his death this
morning.
The deceased was the oldest son of the late Josiah and Eva (Staub)
Albright. He was born near Hampton, Adams county, and lived the greater part
of his life in this country.
Fourteen years ago he removed to Gettysburg and was employed at the
Reaser furniture factory until he was stricken.
FUNERAL SUNDAY
He is survived by his wife who before her marriage was Miss Susan Staub, and
the following sons and daughters, Levi B. Albright of Red Lion; Charles W.
Albright, of Dundas, Ontario; Henry C. Albright, Gettysburg; Alvin H.
Albright, of York, and William R. Albright, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. George Toddes,
Breckenridge street, and Mrs. John Baltzley, of McKnightstown; one step-son,
John S. Ream, of Gardners. Three brothers, Jesse A and William Albright of
Hampton and John Albright of York, Three sisters, Mrs. Daniel Tressel, of
Abbottstown; Mrs. Joseph Strausbaugh, of New Oxford, and Mrs. Henry Highland,
of Hampton; 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from his late home with
the Rev Herbert P. Beam, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating, and
burial in Evergreen cemetery.
