   William Wesley Godfrey died Feb 6 1939 at Valley Hospital at
   the age of 86. Born Feb 22,1853 to David T. Godfrey and Martha Godfrey
   in Meriwether Co and lived near Gabbettville
   for 70 years. He is survived by his wife Celestia Caudle Godfrey, sons
   Henry, Orren, Tom, William D. and daughters
   Dora and Mary Lou. (This information taken from news clipping and the
   death certicate) He was laid to rest at Bethel Church Cemetery.
