   ADAMS, Ethel May  08/17/08  Daily American 
  
   Ethel May Adams, 86, formerly of York, died Aug. 16, 2008, in Somerset. Born
  May 19, 1922, in Shrewbury, the daughter of the late Elmer and Grace (Keeny)
  Nair. Also preceded in death by her husband, Chester; stepmother, Mable (Baker)
  Nair; daughter, Bonnie Ann; and sister, Helen. Survived by nephew, William
  Baughman; great-niece, Mrs. Jason (Valerie) Woy; and great-great-niece and
  nephew, Tiffany and Joseph; and sister in- law, Janet Strickler. Also survived
  by other numerous nieces and nephews and sister, Kathryn Baughman, Somerset.
  Member of the Codorus Church of the Brethren and the Geiger Church of the
  Brethren. Friends received from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, the time of service, in
  the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset. The Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh
  officiating. Interment in Bowsers Cemetery, York County. In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made to the Codorus Church of the Brethren.
