ITEMS FROM SINKING VALLEY.

  On Wednesday of this week, at 12 o'clock, Mr. John B. Hastings and 
Miss Rosa Albright will be married at the home of Rev. J. A. Dunlap, of 
Tyrone.  Mr. Hastings came to this valley ten years ago and has lived 
here ever since then, with the exception of two years.  He served in 
the Sheridan Troop with credit in the recent war.  Miss Albright is a 
daughter of Conrad Albright and is a very worthy and much respected 
young lady.  In a short time they expect to go to farming near 
Gatesburg, Centre county, near Mr. Hastings's home, on the farm owned 
by the late David Rider.

  At the parsonage, 208 East Eleventh street, yesterday at high noon, 
Rev. J. A. Dunlap, Ph.D., performed the ceremony uniting in marriage 
Miss Rosa M. Albright and Mr. John B. Hastings, both of Sinking valley.
