Carrie Layne Burden
1903 - 1993
     Carrie Layne Burden, 90, died December 26 in Orlando, Florida.
     Mrs. Burden was born Ap;ril 16, 1903, in Lawrence County, a
daughter of Charles R. and Mary Nunley Layne.  She was preceded in death
by her husband, Harry C. Burden.
     She was the Lawrence Health Nurse in the early 1930's.
     Surviving are two brothers, James Lewis Layne of Orlando, Florida
and Paul R. Layne of Mobile, Alabama and other relatives.
