George Winford Russell, 50, Frankfort, formerly of Louisville, died
Wednesday in Lexington.
He was a former employee of the Kentucky Department of Transportation, an
Army veteran and a member of First Corinthian Baptist Church in Frankfort.
Survivors: three sons, Mark, Courtney and Gregory Russell; a sister, Barbara
R. Smith; a brother, Nathaniel Russell of Illinois; and a grandchild.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, First Congregational Methodist Church, 3810 Garland
Ave. Burial: Lebanon National Cemetery, Marion County. Visitation: A.D.
Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St., after noon Sunday, and at
the church after 9 a.m. Monday.
