Elan Pyne, 83, of Louisa, Lawrence Co, KY, born Oct 15, 1914 in Ledocio, dau of the 
late John and Savahanna Etta McKinster Short, died June 14, 1998 in Louisa.  Survived:  
daus, Annie Bayles and Rachel King, son, Sterling Hayes, sisters, Ina Harrison and 
Pauline Van Grundy, brothers, John Milton Short, Elsie Short and Shelby Short, 13 gc, 
several g-gc.  Burial:  June 17, 1998 in the Short Cemetery, Louisa, KY.
