Viola M. Lane, 87, of Filson Care Home, died Tuesday at Jewish Hospital.
She was the former Viola Haynes, a native of Clarksville, Tenn., and a
member of Chapel Park Baptist Church.
Survivors: four daughters, Margaret Davis of Des Moines, Iowa, Elizabeth
Richardson, Alice O'Brien and Evelyn Strong; two sons, Lawrence Lane of San
Diego and Hubert O. Lane Jr.; a brother, Jim Haynes; two sisters, Napolee
Hartung and Mildred Crafton; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and a
great-great-grandchild.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Burial:
Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and 11
a.m.- 3 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
Courtney Michelle Locke, infant daughter of Marvin and Valerie Locke, died
Monday at St. Anthony Medical Center.
Survivors besides her parents: grandparents, Oscar and Juanita Grimes and
Gloria Locke; and great-grandparents, Nancy Perry and Georgia Locke.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, Perryman's Mortuary, 3237 W. Broadway. Burial:
Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: after 9 a.m. Thursday.
