OBITUARY OF MELVIN FREDERICK BEASLEY

Melvin Frederick Beasley, 44, of 4111 Sunflower Ave., died Tuesday at
University of Louisville Hospital.
He was a surgical technician at that hospital.
Survivors: his wife, Valerie D. Beasley; a daughter, Courtney M. Beasley; a
son, Melvin Simmons; his parents, Melvin and Anna M. Beasley; brothers
Michael R. Beasley and Thomas and Anthony Edelen; and sisters Margaret B.
Jones and Marilyn A. Beasley.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday, Eastern Star Baptist, 2400 Howard St. Burial:
Green Meadows Memorial. Visitation: W. P. Porter Funeral Home, 2611 Virginia
Ave., noon-9 p.m. Friday and at the church after 9 a.m. Saturday.
