OBITUARY OF MOLLY CORDLE BAKER

Baker, Molly Cordle
Mrs. Molly Cordle Baker, 84, of 3823 Blackburn Avenue; Ashland, Kentucky
died at 9:15 A.M. Friday at her home after an extended illness.
Mrs. Baker was born August 1, 1879, in Lawrence County, Kentucky, a
daughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Winfred Cordle. She was a member of
the United Baptist Church and had resided in Ashland since 1944. She
formerly resided at Cordell of this county.
Surviving are one son: Lundy Baker of Ashland; six brothers: Willie and
Monroe Cordle of Blaine; Russell, Sam, Lock, and Minuard Cordle all of
Ashland; three sisters, Miss Ella Cordle and Mrs. Rose Adams of Ashland;
and Mrs. Jennetta Curnutte of Blaine; three grandchildren and five
greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the Freewill Baptist Church at
Cordell at 2 P.M. Sunday with the Rev. Willie Moore officiating. Burial
in the Baker Family Cemetery at Cordell.
